Our Core Values

Values are a vital part of any ministry’s culture – the very threads that make up its organizational fabric. Whether stated formally or understood informally by the organization’s members, the single most important element of any corporate, congregational, or denominational culture is its value system. Core values determine ministry distinctives, dictate personal involvement, communicate what is important, embrace positive change, influence overall behavior, inspire people to action, enhance credible leadership, shape ministry character, contribute to ministry success, and determine the ministry vision.

Whole-life Discipleship

We believe that a worldview shaped by the gospel begins in childhood and continues throughout adulthood. We prioritize and dedicate resources for all ages to grow deeper and stronger in their relationship with God.

“You have been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:15, NLT

Shared Ministry

We believe that every follower of Christ has a role to play in the church and in building the Kingdom of God. We encourage and equip persons to discern, develop, and deploy their time, talents, gifts and resources for ministry.

“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.” Romans 12:6, NLT

Inspiring Worship

We believe that God is honored and our community is nurtured with worship that connects the head and the heart resulting in holy living. We seek to create relevant and relational worship opportunities for persons to fully connect with Christ and community as a whole-person response to the Gospel.

“Give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” Romans 12:1, NLT

Fervent Prayer

We believe that apart from Christ we can accomplish nothing. We seek the will of God, in all things, through individual and corporate prayer.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5, NLT

Impacting our World

We believe that the church exists to impact the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to serve God and our neighbors in a way that makes God’s kingdom tangible and changes lives.

“I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” Matthew 25:40, NLT

Loving Community

We believe that the Church is called to model to the world what authentic biblical community looks like. We seek to honor God and one another in our character, our conversations, and our commitments.

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” Proverbs 27:17, NLT
